एक बार रक्षा-बंधन के त्योहार में,
बहन भाई से बोली बड़े प्यार मेंफ़र्ज़ है
क्योंकि तुम पर इस
भाई भी मुस्कुरा कर बोला
बहन के सिर पर हाथ रख कर
तुम्हारी इज़्ज़त की रक्षा कारूँगा मैं
अपनी जान हथेली पर रखकर
यह सुना बहन ने तो बोली
थोड़ा सा सकुचा कर
यह इक्कीसवीं सदी का
जमाना है भाई
अपनी इज़्ज़त की रक्षा
तो मैं खुद कर सकती हूँ
